To mark four decades of luxury small-ship cruising, Seabourn has announced an exceptional new voyage: the 2028 Cape to Cape World Cruise. This 120-day journey aboard Seabourn Quest will cover more than 26,000 nautical miles, visiting five continents and over 50 destinations, while debuting complimentary expedition-style experiences on a Seabourn World Cruise for the very first time.
The voyage departs Miami on 7 January 2028, charting a remarkable course between Cape Horn in South America and the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa. Along the way, guests will experience both iconic and remote regions, including Antarctica, Easter Island, and the Falkland Islands. A transit of the Panama Canal honours Seabourn’s inaugural sailing and signals the beginning of the cruise line’s 40th anniversary year, with further celebrations still to be revealed.
Designed to deepen exploration, the voyage introduces an expanded 18-member expedition team who will lead immersive experiences in select regions such as Antarctica and the Chilean Fjords. These complimentary excursions offer closer access to dramatic landscapes and wildlife, enhancing the journey with Seabourn’s signature balance of comfort and discovery.
