In this uncertain environment, we understand that you may appreciate some added flexibility. To that end, Cunard have updated their transfer policy.
This means prior to the balance due date you can now:
- Transfer your booking to any Cunard voyage currently on sale (and not just to those within the next 12 months).
- Transfer your booking to a voyage of higher or lower value (and not just of a higher value, as is usually the case).
- Transfer your booking an unlimited number of times (and not just once).
- Transfer your bookings free of charge, as we will waive the current £100 administration charge for each transfer made.
This policy modifies the transfer policy in Cunard’s Booking Conditions. This policy may be changed or withdrawn at any time without notice. Please note that these Flexible Booking Terms are only applicable to those guests residing and booking in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

If your booking has been impacted by Cunard’s latest pause in operations, we are sorry for any disappointment this may cause you. Your booking will be cancelled and you will automatically receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit (FCC) on monies paid to date on your booking.
This will be applied to your guest account and can be used for any new sailing that is booked before 31 December 2021, on any voyage that’s on sale at the time of booking. Cunard don’t yet know when their 2022 and 2023 voyages will go on sale but this will give you additional flexibility and choice for your future holiday. Cunard are working on creating a large volume of FCCs and anticipate that this will take some time. Please bear with them while they process these.
You can use your FCC on a new booking for any voyages on sale now, or on new voyages that Cunard introduces in the future. If you’ve already made a future booking, you may wish to use your FCC for a second stateroom to bring friends or family with you.
You can also use your FCC to upgrade your stateroom or fare type on an existing booking.
To use your FCC to amend an existing booking you will need to contact your travel agent, or us if you booked directly with us.
Cunard very much hope that you will take the 125% FCC and enjoy a holiday on board with Cunard. However, if this does not meet your needs and you would like to forfeit the 125% FCC, Cunard are happy to give you the amount of monies paid on your booking. Cunard ask that you use the online form if you are requesting a refund.
Future Cruise Credit (FCC) terms and conditions
In light of the Covid-19 Pandemic, many guests have accepted FCCs in relation to cancelled cruises. FCCs can be used any time until 31 December 2021 and can be redeemed against any new booking on a Cunard holiday on sale in that period. FCCs can be used on all fare types of Cunard holiday, subject to availability at the time of booking. Where the cost of the new holiday is more than the FCC, guests can simply pay the difference between the value of the FCC and the deposit or balance payment (if within 90 days).
Guests may use their FCC for a second stateroom to bring friends or family with them or to upgrade their existing booking. Should guests wish to do this they should contact their booking agent.
All new bookings using FCCs will be subject to Cunard Booking Conditions, including their standard cancellation terms. Once an FCC has been applied to a new booking, in the event of a cancellation of a voyage by the guest, any refund will be given in FCC. If your voyage is cancelled by Cunard due to Covid-19, you will offered the same options as all other guests at that time.
